About the Event
A folk festival featuring the challenge between Anacapri's neighbourhoods, with historical parades and tastings in private courtyards opened for the occasion. A unique opportunity to discover Capri off the summer tourist trail.
Anacapri in September rediscovers its authentic identity after the peak tourist season. Residents open the courtyards of historic houses to welcome visitors with local wines, limoncello and typical island dishes.
The Festival
Competition and tradition
Anacapri's four neighbourhoods compete in traditional skill contests and historical costume parades. A jury awards the prize to the neighbourhood that best represents Capri's tradition.
Secret, private Capri
Anacapri families open their private courtyards to the public: lemon gardens, vine pergolas and terraces overlooking the Faraglioni, inaccessible for the rest of the year.
