Praiano, Amalfi Coast

Amalfi Coast · Sunset & Quiet

Praiano

Authentic and tranquil between Positano and Amalfi, with legendary sunsets and crystal-clear waters.

Praiano is split into two hamlets: Vettica Maggiore (the upper part, along the main road) and Marina di Praia (the small bay at sea level, reachable via steps or by car through a tunnel). The village is known for its diving conditions, its August candle festival (the Luminaria di San Domenico) and for having the best west-facing sunset view on the coast.
